Product Description

Functional Movement Screen – Core Training – Core Assessment – Core Testing

What the heck is the core anyway? Here, athletic trainer Lee Burton describes the definition, discusses core testing and covers how assessment should be done.

“Let’s talk about testing in general. Testing is simply creating a baseline. We need to create a baseline to give us something to shoot for…to help us establish goals. Many times we go right into lifting or doing certain exercises without creating that baseline.” ~Lee Burton

1 review for Lee Burton, Core Testing and Assessment

  1. :

Lee points out the critical elements of working with movement and achieving core stability – get mobility first! My own core training programs are now based around this principle of getting thoracic spine and hip mobility before core stability. Lots of useful info in this lecture. A must for those who work with FMS.
