Product Description

What’s wrong with American tennis? – Why aren’t there good American tennis players? – When will there be American tennis champions?

This lecture is a discourse on the reasons why America is failing to produce champion male and female professional tennis players. Additionally, the lecture provides solutions as to how the United States can recapture the success it once had in international tennis.

“Over time, we would have a larger population of fit kids to potentially develop an interest in tennis. More importantly, it would be increasing the chances that all United States school children, regardless of their sports interest or lack thereof, could live longer, healthier and happier lives.

“It is my opinion, and that of many of my colleagues, too many United States tennis teachers have lost sight of and fail to teach the most important aspect of stroke production—the fundamentals. This includes modern tennis as the fundamentals for all styles are identical.” ~Jack Thompson
