“What I found was that a lot of things I’d been told to do were putting me in a flexion position, which was exactly why my back wasn’t getting any better. The sciatica was worse. I was just totally frustrated and didn’t know where else to turn.
“Little did I know that would start a journey that would last for 35 years. Little also did I know that golf was one of the worst things you can do for a problem back, especially the lumbar area, in swinging at speeds of up to 120 miles an hour.
