Designing programs can be a struggle for even experienced coaches and personal trainers. Nick Tumminello excels at making program design simple, from the oldest traditional programming principles to experimental concepts. In this lecture, Nick outlines the basics every trainer and coach needs to know to create quality programs for clients and athletes.
“These are some of the objectives. We’re going to talk about the difference between a fitness-training program and a performance-training program. We’re going to understand the basic periodization concepts and how to use them to get the best results, and we’ll discover the five main training cycles we use here at Performance University.
“We’re going to talk about how to use cool exercises in an effective manner. There’s no reason you can’t design an effective program that’s cool and fun for your clients and athletes, and to understand that they can’t really progress until they adapt.” ~Nick Tumminello

Nick is awesome. I’ve purchased his hypertrophy program design and strength training for fat loss course in the past and they were both extremely useful for the advancement of my skills and mastery of the craft that personal training is.
