“York Barbell, the oldest barbell company in the world, sold more barbell equipment than any other company over the years. They have operated continuously since 1932, and are still in operation in York, although not in the original location. They’re still making barbells, or at least importing them, as most barbells are now made in China and Canada.” ~Mike BonDurant
